The objective of this training program was to help the peer mentors enhance how well they demonstrated emotionally intelligent
leadership behaviour and in doing so, improve how they Connect, Communicate and Influence others. 

The peer mentors learnt how to:

• explore the social neuroscience of emotions,
• determine the link between emotions, decisions making, behaviour and performance,
• review the importance of emotionally intelligent leadership behaviour for their leadership context,
• identity specific emotionally intelligent leadership behaviours they’d like to enhance.
